terms of service
Last updated: 4 November 2026
These terms apply when you work with Storytotellers, a creative studio run by Patricia Mahfoud in Beirut, Lebanon. If your signed agreement or proposal says something different, the agreement wins.
1. How we start
Every project or partnership starts with a scope: a proposal or quotation that lists what's included, the timeline and the price. Work begins once the agreement is signed and the deposit is paid. Anything outside the scope is quoted separately before I start it.
2. Payments
- The deposit amount and the payment schedule are set in your proposal.
- Invoices are due on the date shown on them. Monthly services are paid at the start of each month.
- I accept card, bank transfer and the methods listed on your invoice.
- If a payment is late, I may pause work until it's settled. Deadlines move by the same amount of time.
- Prices are in US dollars unless your proposal says otherwise.
3. Revisions
Each proposal says how many revision rounds are included. Extra rounds, or changes to an approved direction, are billed at my current rates. I'll always tell you before an extra cost applies.
4. Timelines and your part
Timelines depend on getting feedback, content, access and approvals on time. If something from your side arrives late, the timeline shifts with it. If a project is on hold for more than 30 days because I'm waiting on you, I may close it and invoice the work done so far.
5. Who owns the work
- Once everything is paid in full, you own the final deliverables made for you.
- Drafts, unused concepts, my templates, frameworks and working methods stay mine.
- Fonts, stock images, music and software come with their own licences. I'll tell you when something needs a licence in your name.
- I may show finished work in my portfolio and social media unless we agree in writing to keep it private. I never share your confidential information.
6. Confidentiality
Anything private you share with me (numbers, plans, logins, customer data) stays private. I use it only to do the work, and I'll return or delete it when we finish if you ask.
7. Cancelling
- You can end a project or monthly service in writing at any time.
- The deposit covers the time I reserve for you, so it isn't refundable once work has started.
- You pay for work done up to the date you cancel.
- Monthly services need 30 days' notice unless your agreement says otherwise.
- I may end the work if the terms are broken or payments are repeatedly late, and I'll invoice what's been done.
8. Tools and third parties
Some work uses third-party platforms such as ClickUp, Meta, Google, Canva or ManyChat. Their own terms and prices apply. ClickUp licences sold through Storytotellers follow ClickUp's terms. I'm not responsible for changes, outages or account decisions made by those platforms.
9. Results
I put real care and experience into every project, but marketing results depend on many things I don't control (algorithms, budgets, the market, your product). I don't guarantee specific numbers like followers, reach or sales.
10. Limit of liability
If something goes wrong, my total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service involved.
11. Law
These terms follow the laws of Lebanon. If we disagree, we'll first try to sort it out by talking.
