This policy explains what information Storytotellers collects through storytotellers.com and how it's used. Storytotellers is run by Patricia Mahfoud, Beirut, Lebanon. Contact: patricia@storytotellers.com

What I collect

  • Your email, when you sign up for the shot list or the newsletter.
  • What you send me, when you email me, message me or fill in a form: your name, business and project details.
  • Booking details, when you book a call through Calendly: name, email and the answers you give.
  • Payment details, when you pay an invoice. Payments are handled by the payment provider; I never see or store your full card number.
  • How the site is used, through cookies and similar tools: pages visited, device, browser and rough location.

Why

  • To reply to you and do the work you asked for.
  • To send the emails you signed up for (a letter on Tuesdays and a short frame on Fridays).
  • To understand which pages are useful and to improve the site and my marketing.
  • To keep records I'm required to keep, like invoices.

I don't sell your information, and I don't share it with anyone except the services below that help run the studio.

Services I use

  • Squarespace hosts this website.
  • MailerLite sends the newsletter.
  • Calendly handles call bookings.
  • Google Workspace for email and documents.
  • Google Analytics and Meta Pixel measure site visits and ad performance. They use cookies.
  • ClickUp stores project and onboarding information for clients.

Each of these has its own privacy policy.

Cookies

The site uses cookies for analytics and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Your choices

  • Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you're off the list.
  • You can ask me to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you. Email patricia@storytotellers.com and I'll reply within 30 days.

How long I keep it

Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Client and invoice records are kept as long as needed for the work and for legal and tax reasons. Everything else is deleted when it's no longer needed.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
